Transnational research
All institutes and researchers involved in the project started the research on ethnographic writings, associations and individuals. In the first year of the project, our research focusses particularly on discourses of the in-between articulated in historical ethnographic writings as well as travel literature, written in and about the Alps Adriatic region.
In regular transnational meetings, the working groups share their findings and ideas on current research topics and questions. The results of this process will be published in a special issue of the peer-reviewed journal Traditiones in 2024.
